On the same site, an interesting timeline on Why Famous Writers Chose Their Pen Names. I have an odd fascination with pen names and how they affect reader perception. It is sad how many female writers had to go with a male pen name to avoid prejudice. The article also includes a link to a pen name generator with which I had a lot of fun (though barely a usable pen name)
