I love books, but I also enjoy a well-told story in other mediums. So today, here are some trailers.
The Man from U.N.C.L.E
In the early 1960s, CIA agent Napoleon Solo and KGB operative Illya Kuryakin participate in a joint mission against a mysterious criminal organization, which is working to proliferate nuclear weapons.
Not abook adaptation but this film looks like it is going to be incredibly fun. The trailer music is on point and the costumes look gorgeous. It definitely has a Bond-like feel to it, but more lightness than the latest Bond movies. Looking forward to this one!
Libby Day’s family was murdered when she was only 7 and it was her testimony that sent her brother Ben to prison for the murders. Years later, Libby still struggles with her past and she decides to meet with the Kill Club, a group of people who enjoy old crimes. It prompts her to reinvestigate her past.
This book was a truly dark read. I’m glad I read it before I saw the trailer though, since it contains a spoiler for the book.
Far From the Madding Crowd
Talk about a trailer that shows absolutely nothing about the plot whatsoever. Sure, it is a classic so maybe I should know what it’s about but still it could give some impression of the story. I really liked the song though.
In the Heart of the Sea
This is the film version of the book that tells the story that inspired Moby Dick. There are some truly gorgeous ocean shots in here.
What do you think? Which movies will you watch?
